Alpaca Product Offerings Continue to Grow in the USA Market

Here at PurelyAlpaca we are constantly watching and participating in the world of alpaca fashion and alpaca gifts. This year we're seeing a continuation of the rapid growth of the industry on many fronts. This is great news for those of us who are, at the core, alpaca enthusiasts!

This year we're seeing new large companies getting into the fashion mix. Michell Mills, one of the largest alpaca companies in Peru is offering new lines of excellent contemporary alpaca fashion. In their first year, expect to see a lot coming from them in the future. They tell us they're also ramping up a socks service.

The small country of Ecuador is offering a number of new products as they continue to re-awaken their alpaca farming and products industry. We met with American Ex-Pats working in Ecuador as alpaca farmers and running small alpaca mills producing unique and high quality products for the "Western" market. This 100% Natural Alpaca is 100% Natural colors, with no dyes or artificial chemicals!  

In the USA there is an increasing drive to produce American alpaca products. We are very excited at efforts to develop a large scale mill capable of producing commercial cone sock yarn. As a company selling tens or thousands of high quality alpaca socks annually, we encourage this development with all our enthusiasm!
